What do we know about Xenadrine Xtreme?

Xenadrine Xtreme is a weight loss pill designed for women only; It’s manufactured by a pretty reputable company called Xenadrine. You may recognize the name of other products they manufacture like Xenadrine RFA-1, RZR-X and many others. I’m usually a little skeptical about companies making weight loss pills exclusively for just one sex – as is the aim of Xenadrine Xtreme. For the most part, most effective weight loss ingredients are uni-sex and most don’t work particularly better in one gender or the other.

I find the gender selective pill usually nothing more then a common marketing trick by weight loss companies. They may tweak their ingredient profile ever so slightly so they can target women when in reality there isn’t much of a difference between Xenadrine Xtreme and a hundred other weight loss supplements –  even ones even guys can use.

But with Xenadrine Xtreme you do get a pill that contains some clinically proven ingredients that can result in some fat burn. However, judging by what I see from the ingredient profile I don’t think you should expect miracles. These are common ingredients, known to promote moderate weight loss.

What’s inside Xenadrine Xtreme?

Xenadrine Xtreme contains an entire encyclopedia of ingredients. Here’s the list in its entirety.

Green tea, Yohimbine, Pu-erh Tea Leaf, Artemisia capillaries, Caffeine Anhydrous, Engelhardita ctysolepsis part extract, Black Soy part, Garcinia Cambogia, Coleus Forskohlii, Catuaba Bark, Lemon Balm, Cissus Quadrangularis, Soy Bean extract, Schisandra Chinesis fruit extract, Jujube fruit, Barberry fruit, Acai fruit, Pomegranate fruit, and Mulberry fruit.

As inclusive a list as this is, again I really don’t see much in there that would lead me to believe that this pill should only be used exclusively by women. I don’t see how any of these ingredients will specifically shape a woman’s body.  I think both men and women should be able to take this combination of ingredients.

But aside from it not really being “only” for women, many of the ingredients have little weight loss capabilities.  You can toss out most of the berry extracts near the end of the list. While they are a fantastic source of antioxidants there is little proof that they do anything more then keep the body healthy and functioning properly. Important as that may be for a healthy living, it does little for actual weight loss.

To be frankly honest, the ingredient line-up, while good for the body, does little in regards to weight loss. I like the Caffeine Anhydrous as a supplement; it’s proven to improve thermogenics in the body. But I wonder if they’ve included enough of the stuff for it to be effective.

As for Garcinia Cambogia there are a few things you should be made aware—if you’re not already—about this supplement. The driving force inside this supplement is called Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) and this supplement is thought to keep fat from storing inside the body; it also acts as an appetite suppressant and lowers the production of glycogen.

However, on the flipside, this ingredient may also lead to headaches, nausea and intestinal discomfort. Unfortunately there’s a down side to some of these ingredients and as we just mentioned, Garcinia Cambogia doesn’t escape those effects.

Other side effects to Xenadrine Xtreme?

Speaking of side effects, Xenadrine Xtreme FX side effects could also include irregular heartbeat, chest pain, dizziness, headache, nausea, insomnia, mood swings, cramping, constipation, diarrhea, tension, anxiety, and high blood pressure if you are sensitive to caffeine. I’m sure these are all more then you’d want to experience, especially coming from a weight loss pill.

How much does Xenadrine Xtreme cost?

The price of Xenadrine Xtreme is going to cost about $60, which in our estimation is too much to pay for a pill that would deliver only mild results. You can buy much more effective fat burners for the same price, probably even cheaper.

Final thoughts

While I like most of the ingredients contained in the Xenadrine Xtreme formula I just find it to be a little weak for my tastes. I prefer having stronger amounts of the caffeine anhydrous and most of the other ingredients for that matter. I think if you do go with the products you’ll see some weight loss but not as much as you’d get with other similar price products.
